Also, applications lodged for a Student or Temporary Graduate visa will be assessed under the New English Language Requirements.

Permitted Activities

​​- Participate in an eligible course of study in Australia.
- Travel in and out of Australia.
- Work up to 48 hours per fortnight when your course of study or training is in session. 

Application Requirements

- Apply online, whether you are inside or outside Australia.
- Enrolled in a course of study in Australia.
- Hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or qualify for exemption.
- Must be 6 years or older.
- Provide evidence of a welfare arrangement if you are under 18.
- If in Australia, hold an eligible substantive visa.
